Become a Student, or Teach Others!

Learning as a Student

If you would be interested in partnering with one of our teachers we would love to hear from you.  There is a simple and easy process for becoming a student. 

First, request an on-line interview.  This is designed to assess your English level. 

Second, we will determine whether a native English speaker or a Chinese bi-lingual teacher would be the best partner.  As teachers are available, we will partner each person with the best teacher for that particular student.  If the student has a high level then we will partner them with a native English speaker.  If the student has a lower level of oral English we will partner them with a Chinese bi-lingual teacher. 

Third, the teacher and the student will establish a mutually convenient time for their weekly meeting. 

Fourth, they will evaluate the progress every three months.  The student will be asked to evaluate the teaching.  If both the teacher and the student agree then they will continue for another three months.

For those interested in volunteering to be a teacher we ask that you contact us by email.  We will arrange for an on-line interview.   Of course, there is no obligation connected to this interview.  At that time we will give a more complete picture of GWP Teaching.
